Meet Frank Brandao, Sr.
Frank entered the trade at General Alloy Casting Company in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He served his former Molders Local 99 in various offices including Steward, Chief Steward, Recording Secretary and Treasurer.
Frank joined the former Molders Union staff in 1981 as a Staff Representative. In 1999 he was named to the GMP Executive Board, and in 2002, he was named Area Director of the St Louis Missouri, office. In June 2004 he was named International Vice President for Area 1 in Media, PA. In November 2004 he was named International Vice President for Area 2.
He has attended numerous seminars and training sessions at the University of Wisconsin and George Meany Labor Studies Center.
Frank was an active firefighter, former fire chief and former Borough Councilman in Industry, PA.
Frank and his wife Midge have one son and three grandchildren.
