Your Annual Financial Schedule:
January 1
• Start new payroll year
• Complete all payroll returns for 4th quarter Form 941
• Complete all payroll returns for previous year
• Prepare W-2/1099-MISC forms
•Social Security Administration
•IRS
January 15
• Sign and mail payroll reports and 940 forms to various government agencies
January 31
• Deadline for employees/recipients to get 1099's and W-2's
• Deadline for DOL Labor Management Forms (LM's)
February 15
• Prepare W-3 and 1096 forms (transmittals for W-2's and 1099's)
• Deadline for W-3/1096 (transmittals with W-2's and 1099's) filing
